Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Figurine

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton was the first native-born American to be canonized by the Roman Catholic Church.

She is noted for starting the parochial school system in America and founding a religious community called the Sisters of Charity. This has expanded over the years and today six sisterhoods’ origins can be traced back to the Sisters of Charity.

In the words of Pope John Paul XXIII, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton “sowed a seed in America which by Divine Grace grew into a large tree.”

Share and relive the life of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton with this hand-painted figure. What seeds can you sow today?
